Are you tired of feeling stressed at work but aren’t sure of how to deal with it?

Have you tried EAP and it wasn’t enough or it wasn’t the right fit?

Do you have personal issues that you don’t want to disclose to your boss but want to ensure they don’t affect your job performance?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, then you’ve come to the right place.

I’m a qualified occupational therapist. And I help employees like you take care of their mental wellbeing at work.

Why?

The majority of us need to work. But we also need to cope with the stresses that work and life throws at us. It’s hard to leave personal issues at home when you leave to go to work. And it’s hard to leave work issues at work at the end of the day.

This means stress management in the workplace is important.

There are many programs out there promoting wellbeing in the workplace. But I take a more individualised approach. Because I’m aware that there’s no “one size fits all”. What might work well for someone else may not work for you.

And that’s where I can help.

How I can help you with your wellbeing at work

There are two ways you can work with me.

One-on-one individualised program

This is where you work one-on-one with me to:

  • Complete an assessment and treatment plan. This isn’t as medicalised as it sounds. It’s about having a detailed chat to figure out what’s going on. What problem do we need to work on?
  • We then create a plan that you can work through to help ease that stress and anxiety you’ve been having.
  • Receive follow-up support to ensure the plan is meeting your needs and to provide guidance if you get stuck

This usually takes place in a block of four session. If you’d like to keep working together, we can arrange more individual sessions. Or you can access ongoing support in the Compass Community membership.

The Compass Community

I have an online community that you can join and stay in for as long as you need, where you’ll get:

  • Month-by-month support on different topics in a more generalised manner
  • A safe place where you can talk about different issues with like-minded people who understand where you’re coming from
  • The ability to participate as actively or as anonymously as you feel comfortable. There’s no pressure to speak up or have web cameras on. And you’ll definitely won’t be put on the spot
  • Live group coaching calls with replay available
  • Ability to submit questions for personalised feedback

This is a great way to access ongoing support and direction at an affordable price.

Why use an occupational therapist?

There are many benefits to working with an occupational therapist, including:

  • using a broad range of frameworks and modalities to help you
  • looking at both your physical and mental health
  • taking a holistic and client-centred approach – who you are and what’s important to you are central to how we approach your plan

Occupational therapy looks at you as a whole person and also takes your environment into account. Whereas other modalities tend to look at one specific part of you.
